Temperatures in Athens will range between 24C and 35C; and in Thessaloniki from 23C to 33C.(15/7/2003 8:36:00 μμ) [02] Bank of Greece Governor meets with the Prime MinisterFollowing his meeting today with Prime Minister Simitis, the governor of the Bank of Greece, Nikos Garganas expressed his concerns over the course of the country's inflation, which remains steady at 1,5 points above the average Eurozone inflation rate.Mr. Garganas underlined that the high inflation rate is maily due to the price adjustments for fruits and vegetables and the large increase in average labor costs. The bank governor also estimated that inflation will eventually deescalate in August and will close at an annual percentage rate of 3,5%.
