  • [01] EXPECTING THE "2000 COMPUTER BUG"

    Experts are making efforts to deal with the "2000 computer bug", mainly in the sectors of transport, telecommunications, power and water supply. The result will become evident after midnight on New Year's Eve. A research of the Interior ministry has revealed that 7 Greeks out of ten are afraid of the repercussions of the "bug".

    [02] SECURITIZATION OF PUBLIC UTILITIES

    In the report of the organisation of economic cooperation and development regarding the Greek economy, experts are expected to ask for the securitization of the power corporation, Olympic Airways, the Agricultural Bank of Greece and Greek Railways.

    [03] LESPEROGLOU DENIES CHARGES

    Abraham Lesperoglou, suspect of acts of terrorism, who was imprisoned to Korydallos jail after being sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment for having entered Greece illegally using forged documents, denies all charges addressed to him.
