    Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will meet with the mayor of Athens Giorgos Kaminis on Thursday to discuss four interventions that will improve the image of Athens.

    More specifically, they will discuss the renovation of the historic center, with interventions from Syntagma square to Keramikos, the construction of a park in Alexandras Avenue, the upgrade of Goudi park and the construction of the new Panathinaikos stadium as well as the creation of sports centres in the area of Eleonas, according to a report published in Ethnos newspaper.

    [02] Labour Min Achtsioglou to participate in labour conference in Frankfurt

    Labour Minister Efi Achtsioglou on Thursday will participate in a conference held in Frankfurt on the deregulation of the labour relations in Greece.

    According to an announcement of the Labour ministry, the conference is organised by Germany's largest labour federation IG Metall (2.3 million members). The aim of the conference is to show that the outcome of the negotiations between the Greek government and the creditors will not only affect Greece, but all Europe.

    Achtsioglou is expected to promote the positions of the Greek government stressing that Greece must not be excluded from the European social model.
