[02] The crisis will end when banks can again supply liquidity, PM Tsipras says on Twitter

The crisis began as a result of the banks' inability to supply liquidity to the economy and will end when this inability is removed, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said in a post on the Greek premier's Twitter account (@PrimeministerGR) on Tuesday.

"Government, banks and organisations, we are obliged to work together for the recovery of the economy," the prime minister added in a second tweet, with photos from his meeting with the Hellenic Bank Association's presidency.
