[01] Stavros Thomadakis appointed new head of financial crimes squad
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos appointed on Thursday the ministry's
economic inspector, Stavros Thomadakis, as new head of Greece's financial
crimes squad (SDOE).
Thomadakis is replacing Konstantinos Christou, who resigned to take
over the post of Secretary for Transparency in the last government
reshuffle last November. He has served as director of the Research and
Safeguarding of Internal Revenue Agency and the General Secretariat for
Public Revenues.
