[01] Greek issue to dominate Eurogroup meetingThe Greek issue will dominate the afternoon meeting of the Eurogroup that will start at 16.00. According to an announcement of the EU Council, the EU Finance Ministers will be briefed by the institutions of the second programme review after their visit to Athens in mid-November.In an interview with radio station Athina 9.84 FM, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos stressed that the Greek government will not back down in the face of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) pressure for more measures. "We have made it clear that there is no chance of us accepting all that the IMF demands with regard to the measures but also with regard to labour issues," he said. [02] PM Tsipras meets with German FM Steinmeier"Renzi did what was right and necessary, but the Italians did not vote for yes," said German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier during his meeting with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Monday.Steinmeier said the crisis in Italy is "governmental" and added: "it is not a positive message in a difficult period for the EU. In this context I am grateful to be with a partner that shares the same ideas with us, is a friend of Europe (...) contributes and will contribute in Europe's cohesion, especially after the Brexit and of course I am fully aware that things are not easy for Greece and its Prime Minister that are facing the economic crisis, the migration issue and negotiation." [03] Alternate Foreign Minister Katrougalos visits BelgradeAlternate Foreign Minister George Katrougalos is visiting Belgrade on Monday in the context of a four-day visit to Serbia, where he is to have a series of meetings with Serb ministers.Katrougalos will be in Belgrade until December 7 and will be received by the country's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić, Economy Minister Goran Knežević and Minister without portfolio in charge of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović. Katrougalos is also scheduled to speak at a joint session of the Serbian Parliament's foreign affairs and European affairs committees, address a Greek-Serbian business forum and deliver a speech at the University of Belgrade law school on "The future of Europe." [04] Kotzias, Steinmeier call on Turkey to stop 'playing games with the Lausanne Treaty'Greek and German Foreign Ministers Nikos Kotzias and Frank-Walter Steinmeier late on Sunday sent a message to Turkey to stop playing games with the Treaty of Lausanne."Everyone knows what it would mean to start questioning the borders in Europe. Surely this does not contribute to the urgently needed stability that citizens are seeking," said Steinmeier. Kotzias underlined that in order for Turkey to have a European orientation, it needs to keep a low profile and implement the international law, which also means to apply and respect the Treaty of Lausanne. Because some of its provisions, such as the autonomous administrative status of Imvros and Tenedos islands, are not respected, he said and added: "We want a European democratic Turkey to join the EU, we want a neighbour country that will comply with the international and European law." Both officials expressed their optimism over the Cyprus issue, stressing that a solution to the problem would have a positive impact on the future of Greece and the EU. "Of course a solution that will be based on the European and international law without guarantees and occupations troops," Kotzias underlined. [05] Christmas at the Acropolis MuseumWith imaginative children's workshops, family backpacks, gallery talks for adults, Christmas tunes, harp melodies in the Parthenon Gallery and more surprises, the Acropolis Museum will welcome its visitors during the month of December.Little friends who visit the Museum during the festive season will have the opportunity to create their own buildings using white LEGO bricks and plenty of imagination. Their inspiration will be the temples, columns and capitals of the Acropolis! The workshop is held by the Acropolis Restoration Service Education Team and is designed for kids from 7 to 11 years old. Using today's festive plants as a starting point, children and adults can discover the special importance of particular plants in ancient Greece, such as the olive, oak and laurel. They will be exposed to the beautiful foliage and fruits that can be seen in the Museum's art, in order to create its colourful, festive of trees.
