[01] Greece-Turkey's relations a European issue, says President Pavlopoulos

"There is no Turkish republic in northern Cyprus, there is only invasion and occupation," Pavlopoulos stressed.

"We neither demand, nor do we deliver. We defend Europe, its prestige and its sovereignty," Pavlopoulos said adding that the relations between Greece and Turkey is a European issue. "The European Union should understand that when we defend our national issues, we also defend Europe's issues," said Pavlopoulos.

[02] Greek Panorama exhibition to be held at Grand Central Terminal Station

The exhibition aims to showcase Greece as a destination and promote its products, focusing on tourism, culture and gastronomy, North Events said in an announcement.

For that reason, North Events set up a subsidiary, Hellas North American Events Inc, to provide communications and promotion services and promote public and private tourist and export companies in north America.

Other plans include the publication of Hellas Blu, a new magazine released in collaboration with New York radio station Hellas FM.

[03] Southern Aegean region declared European Region of Gastronomy

Regional governor Giorgos Hatzimarkos announced earlier on Wednesday that the official ceremony will be held after 15 January 2016 at a special event.

Southern Aegean region proposed this event to be held on the island of Rhodes.
