[01] Kotzias reiterates Greece's support of Cyprus talks in call with Eide
Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias spoke with U.N. Special Adviser on Cyprus
Espen Barth Eide on Thursday evening, to whom he reiterated Greece's
support for the continuation of the negotiating process.
Kotzias said Greece seeks a fair and viable solution to the Cyprus issue
and discussed with Eide the collapse of peace talks in Switzerland and
the role of the U.N. in the process.
The foreign minister and the U.N. envoy agreed to meet after the latter's
imminent return to Cyprus, a development for which Kotzias expressed
the Greek government's satisfaction.
