An intense thunderstorm that brought hail hit Athens on Tuesday
afternoon, with rainfall reported more intense at the city's northern
suburbs, the National Meteorological Service said.
The hailstorm was forecast to pass over the prefectures of Magnesia and
Fthiotida, while Athens was forecast to have scattered rain.
