[02] Two young Yazidi Iraqis drown in water tank in northern Greece

Two refugee boys from Iraq, aged 12 and 14, were found dead in a municipal water tank in a rural area near Pieria, in northern Greece, the spokesperson of the Coordinating Body for the Management of the Refugee Crisis, Giorgos Kyritsis, said on Wednesday.

The young Yazidis, who have been identified as Khuded Khero Khalaf and Hussein Ayad Saado, were staying at the nearby accommodation center of Petra, housed in an old psychiatric hospital, near mount Olympus.
