[01] Putin calls Greek PM, President to thank them for hospitality during
his visit
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday contacted Greek Prime
Minister Alexis Tsipras and President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis
Pavlopoulos on the telephone in order to thank them for their hospitality
during his visit to Greece, both in Athens and during his visit to the
monastic community on Mount Athos on Saturday.
According to an announcement issued by President Pavlopoulos' office,
the two presidents also conducted a review of the visit and confirmed
the need to continue their contacts in order to further cement ties
between Greece and Russia.
