[01] Greek proposal for a balancing mechanism is credible, gov't
sources say
The Greek proposal for the creation of a balancing mechanism instead
of adopting contingent measures is credible and reflects the certainty
of Greece that it will meet its fiscal targets, according to government
sources.
Regarding the IMF's rejection to accept the proposal of the Greek
government for the creation of a balancing mechanism instead of adopting
contingent measures, government sources said that it proves its intention
to implement another programme with additional measures and not the one
agreed in July, they said adding that the other institutions agree on
the Greek positions.
