[01] Starting price for each new Greek TV license set at 3 mln euros
Each of the four TV licenses which will be sold to private media
channels in Greece will be auctioned at a starting price of three
million euros, according to a joint ministerial decision issued on
Tuesday by State Minister Nikos Pappas and Alternate Finance Minister
Giorgos Chouliarakis.
The auction concerns the sale of four licenses to free, terrestrial,
nationwide, digital content providers who will broadcast a general
information program athigh-definition. According to the press release,
the auction will be announced in the next few days.
