[01] Alternate Migration Minister Mouzalas to brief SYRIZA parliamentary
group on draft law on refugees
Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yiannis Mouzalas on Thursday
will brief the parliamentary group of SYRIZA on the provisions of the
draft law on the refugee issue.
The briefing has been scheduled for noon ahead of the beginning of the
discussion on the draft law in Parliament.
[02] Clashes break out between Syrians and Afghans in Piraeus; eight
injured
At least eight people were slightly injured late on Wednesday, according
to the Coast Guard, in clashes between Afghan and Syrian refugees at
the port of Piraeus.
The injured people were transferred to the hospital.
Meanwhile, "Blue Star 1" with 7 refugees and migrants from Chios and
Mytilene arrived at Piraeus port on Thursday. "Diagoras" ferry is expected
to arrive within the day with 1 refugee on board.
According to the latest data, the number of migrants and refugees has
reached 5,800.
