    At least 3,000 refugees are currently hosted inside the premises of the port of Piraeus, at the four passenger stations and the stonewall warehouse provided by the Port Authority of Pireus, announced on Friday the portuary services after a new counting.

    At 06:15, the ferry "Ariadni" with 658 refugees and migrants from Chios and Mytilene islands of the Norther Aegean Sea docked at the port. More specifically, 300 persons came from Chios and the rest of the 358 refugees and migrants were embarked on Mytilene.

    Later is expected to arrive the ferry "Blue Star 2" carrying another 231 refugees and migrants from Kos and Leros.

    On Thursday afternoon also docked at Piraeus the ferry "Nissos Mykonos", carrying 476 refugees and migrants from Chios, Mytilene and Samos.

    During the day, a total of 700 refugees and migrants were transported on buses from the port of Piraeus to various centers for their temporary housing. According to sources, many of them albeit their hardship they refuse to be moved, since as they claim they receive messages from fellow refugees and friends who promise them they can help them cross the borders.
