[01] Protesting farmers at Mikrothives agree to meet PM on Monday
The farmers at the roadblock of Mikrothives, in central Greece, said
they will participate in the talks with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras
scheduled for Monday, following a decision by their committee on Friday.
After a members' meeting earlier in the day, protesters decided to travel
to Athens and be represented by three farmers who are participating in
the road block: Christos Pantsios, Miltos Basdanis and Fanis Prassas.
According to information, talks in Athens will center on the proposals
submitted jointly by the farmers in Mikrothives, Tempi Valley and other
regions of the country.
