[01] PM Alexis Tsipras and Egyptian President meet for talks in Athens
Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Tuesday received Egyptian
President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who is carrying out an official visit
to Greece, for talks at the government headquarters in Athens. The
Egyptian president thanked him for the opportunity to meet and noted
the historically strong ties of friendship between Greece and Egypt.
He expressed hope that the trilateral cooperation launched between Greece,
Egypt and Cyprus will form a "nucleus for cooperation" throughout the
region and referred to the need for stability in the Middle East.
