[01] Red Bull 'Art of Motion' 5th Edition Freerunning Competition on
Santorini this Saturday
ANA-MPA -- The Red Bull 'Art of Motion' Freerunning and Parkour
Competition returns to the island of Santorini on Saturday, with
athletes strutting their stuff over the multi-coloured rooftops of Oia,
a 'natural' and idyllic parkour course.
More than 81 'freerunners' from 21 countries competed in the
2015 qualifiers on the island, in order to take part in the final
competition. The field was narrowed down to 18, from which the judges have
selected the final six that will compete in the finals. These were Achraf
Dibani from Morocco, Robert Reese from the United States, Jason Paul from
Germany, Johan Stahle from Sweden, Dominic Di Tommaso from Australia and
Erik Mukhametshyn from Ukraine. The 5th Edition competition, which is
transferred from Firostefani to Oia, will also feature the Top 6 that
qualified for the finals in 2014 and seven athletes (four male, three
female) selected via online qualifiers. Female athlete Lynn Jung will not
be competing due to an injury. The athletes taking part in the final
line up on Saturday will include: Greek champion Dimitris Kyrsanidis,
Latvia's Pavel Petkuns, Álexander Baiturin (RUS), Yoann Leroux (FRA),
Jesse Peveril (CAN), Alexander Schauer (AUT), Pedro Leon Gomez (ESP),
Luci Romberg (USA), Achraf Dibani (MAR), Robert Reese (USA), Jason Paul
(GER), Johan Stahle (SWE), Dominic Di Tommaso (AUS), Erik Mukhametschyn
(UKR), Mohammed Didi Alaoui (MAR), Dante Grazioli (USA), Pamela Forster
(ÁUT), Alfred Scott (USA). The final will be transmitted live by
redbullartofmotion.com and on Red Bull TV óôéò 16:00. Red Bull TV is
