[01] European Commissioner Moscovici: When there is volition, there is
a way
ANA/MPA---The Eurogroup must assume the responsibility to examine if an
agreement between Greece and the institutions can still be reached ,
European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Pierre Moscovici said upon
his arrival for the Eurogroup meeting on Saturday.
The gap between the Greek and the institutions' is relatively small, he
said noting that the Commission was working late Friday night to cover
this gap based on the Eurogroup's decision. The French Commissioner
noted that the Commission wishes Greece to remain in the eurozone but
Greece on its part must proceed with reliable and solid reforms.
"When there is volition, there is a way," noted Moscovici underlining
that the Eurogroup will examine today if the agreement is still
possible. Previously, however, he said that the ministers are waiting
to hear from their Greek counterpart Yanis Varoufakis the position of
the Greek government.
