ANA/MPA--"As a General Accounting Office we are interested in paying
our obligations on time," Alternate Finance Minister Dimitris Mardas
on Friday said.
"So far things are going well," he said and added that "what has been
estimated and scheduled to be paid, it will be paid."
In statements to ANT1 TV, he pointed out that the conclusions on the
Greek economy coming from abroad are based on other data and reports than
the ones we use adding that the General Accounting Office has knowledge
of the real data. "Based on the data available, we can pay," he noted,
stressing that "a negotiation is underway which aims at ensuring liquidity
in perpetuity."
