[01] KKE's Koutsoumbas says ND, SYRIZA have no clear-cut positionsANA/MPA---Communist Party (KKE) general secretary Dimitris Koutsoumbas on Thursday said that the confrontation between New Democracy (ND) and Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) is full of contradictions because they have no clear-cut positions and also because they tell voters what they want to hear.In an interview to Parapolitika private radio, he said that the confrontation between the two mainstream parties has the features of a "mockery" and underlined that the issues of taxation will continue to burden the lower-income earners. He said that SYRIZA's position as regards the negotiation with the troika of the country's lenders is full of nonsense, while referring to the strategies and programmes of KKE and SYRIZA, he said that they are completely different. He also noted that a major coalition government can be formed based on the programmes of the political parties, the KKE not included, because there are no radical differences between them. Koutsoumbas said that the people should go to the polls not just to express their anger and indignation but to cast their vote with a clear mind, with their thoughts on the day after.
