[01] Venizelos to brief SYRIZA leader Tsipras on foreign policy issues
ANA/MPA---The main opposition Radical Left Coalition SYRIZA party's
leader Alexis Tsipras is scheduled to meet with the Government Vice
President, Foreign Minister and leader of government coalition's
junior partner PASOK party Evangelos Venizelos on Monday at 13:00 at
the Foreign Ministry.
According to SYRIZA MEP Dimitris Papadimoulis, the discussion between the
two men will be "stricly confined to matters concerning foreign policy".
In statements offered to ANA-MPA, Papadimoulis described PM Antonis
Samaras and Venizelos as "a duet of failure", who are fervently preparing
a new round of cuts in pensions and wages, as well as increased taxes,
despite offering public reassurances never to do that again, only a few
days ago.
