[01] Light quake north of Kassos island
ANA/MPA---A light earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale was
recorded at 3.34 am on Friday near Kassos island, southern Aegean.
According to the Geodynamics Institute of Athens' National Observatory
and the Geophysics department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
the quake's epicentre was located 404 km southeast of Athens at the sea
region 17 km north-northeast of Kassos island.
