[01] Second day of ADEDY's strike; concert outside the parliament
ANA/MPA---Public sector union (ADEDY) mobilisations continue on Thursday,
second day of the 48h strike against reserve labour and possible layoffs
in public sector. A rally will be held at Klathmonos square, cental
Athens, followed by a concert outside the parliament under the slogan
"We support the public social needs - no to layoffs".
Greek Federation Secondary Education State School Teachers (OLME)
participates in the strike with further mobilisations on Friday given
that the mobility scheme period for teachers ends on Saturday.
Moreover, the Federation of Public Hospitals employees also take part
in the strike. The hospitals operate on Thursday with skeleton staff.
