[01] New York blast missing Greek found in hospital
ANA/MPA---Greek Andreas Panagopoulos, who was reported missing after an
explosion in New York City's East Harlem on Wednesday, has been found
injured in a city hospital, according to the latest information.
The explosion was caused by a gas leak in two apartment blocks, New York
police authorities and Mayor Bill de Blasio said.
At least four people were killed, 74 people have been injured, while 9
people are still missing.
[02] Greek, Turkish Coast Guards searching for missing migrants
ANA/MPA---Greek and Turkish Coast Guards are searching the wider sea
region of Symi island, southeastern Aegean, to locate three missing
migrants following the capsizing of a dinghy in Turkish territorial
waters at dawn on Wednesday with a total of 19 migrants on board.
The Turkish coast guard rescued 15 people in the neighbouring country's
territorial waters and recovered one body, and asked for the assistance
of their Greek counterparts to locate the rest of the missing migrants.
[03] FM Venizelos meeting on Parthenon Marbles
Government Vice-President and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos on
Thursday will meet with the chairman of the International Association
for the Reunification of the Parthenon Marbles David Hill.
The meeting will take place at the Foreign Ministry at 11.30, according
to a ministry announcement.
