"Nobody should be left alone in the crisis and we must be present
to those in need in order to build a different society," said main
opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras during his visit on Tuesday
to Pedopolis Institute "Aghios Andreas" where the children sang to him
Christmas carols.
Tsipras opined that the crisis is mostly a crisis of principles and then
an economic crisis.
According to SYRIZA leader, this year we are experiencing the most
difficult Christmas of the last decades.
Referring to his visit to the institute, he said that "it is a disgrace
for our civilisation not to be able to offer the least necessary to
the children, to the unemployed and to the homeless. Wherever the state
is absent, solidarity and humanity can offer very much" and concluded
"Let's wish that these will be the last dark and gloomy Christmas".
