[01] Weekend of free activities in museums, sites Sept. 28-29
ANA-MPA -- Museums, monuments and archaeological sites throughout Greece
will celebrate the consecutive United Nations' World Tourism Day and
the EU's European Heritage Days on the weekend of September 28 (Friday)
to 29 (Sunday).
Most of the museums will focus on programmes for primary and secondary
school students, while they will also offer free guides to their
collections to adults.
The sites and museums should be contacted separately for hours and
programmes. In Athens, events are scheduled by the Acropolis site, the
Athenian Agora, the Kanellopoulos Museum, the National Archaeological
Museum, and the Byzantine and Christian Museum, among others.
