[01] OSE is not being shut down, transport ministry clarifies
The ministry of transport and networks on Sunday dismissed a front-page
news report in the newspaper "Real News", according to which, Hellenic
Railways Organization (OSE) will be shutdown.
A ministry statement underlined that shutting down or trivializing the
organization is not in the government's plans. "On the contrary, the
government's intention is to upgrade the organization's operation and
services and for this purpose fundamental and major railway infrastructure
projects are underway across the country," the ministry statement noted.
