left the door open for its participation in a new tender for the
privatization of DEPA.
A Gazprom official, speaking to reporters in Moscow –a day after
Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund announced it would launch a
new tender after no bids were submitted for the sale of DEPA, Greece's
natural gas firm- said: "In case a new tender is launched for the
privatization of DEPA, Gazprom will examine in detail all preconditions
and then reach a decision on whether it would participate or not in the
