AMNA -- The National Action Plan on Corruption will soon be presented
to Prime Minister Antonis Samaras by justice ministry general secretary
for transparency and human rights George Sourlas, who is expected to
take over as national coordinator.

the red tape surrounding the seizure of funds arising from illegal
activities, such as money laundering or drug trafficking, and to decrease
the amount of time needed for this money to be available for use by
state coffers after it is proved to be income from criminal activity.amna

already been set up within the framework of the Court of Audit to
coordinate the efforts of the bodies seeking the simplification of
these procedures. The committee will also use the know-how of other

meet these goals.
