[02] Trade deficit drops 14.2pct in AprilAMNA--Greece's trade deficit fell by 14.2 percent in April, after several months of increases, the independent Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Monday.ELSTAT, in a report, said that the total value of imports-arrivals, excluding oil products, in April 2012 amounted to 2316.9 million euros (3040.2 million dollars) in comparison with 2531.9 million euros (3645.6 million dollars) in April 2011, recording a drop, in euros, of 8.5%.amna The total value of exports-dispatches, excluding oil products, in April 2012 amounted to 1267.7 million euros (1673.6 million dollars) in comparison with 1309.6 million euros (1896.8 million dollars) in April 2011, recording a drop, in euros, of 3.2%.amna The deficit of the trade balance, excluding oil products, in April 2012 amounted to 1049.2 million euros (1366.6 million dollars) in comparison with 1222.3 million euros (1748.8 million dollars) in April 2011, recording a drop, in euros, of 14.2%.
