[05] Athens Stock Exchange opening: RiseAMNA--Equity prices were rising at the opening of trade on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 1.64 percent, standing at 609.91 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 8.387 million euros.The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 1.96 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 2.79 percent. All individual sector indices were moving upward, with the biggest gains in Travel an Recreation, up 4.80 percent; Public Utilities, up 4.03 percent and Telecoms, up 3.52 percent. Of the stocks traded, 41 were up, 6 were down, and 8 were unchanged. [07] Greece raises 1.3 bln euros from T-bill auctionAMNA--Greece on Tuesday successfully auctioned a three-month Treasury bills issue raising 1.3 billion euros from the market at a slightly lower cost.
