[01] Latest opinion poll results(ANA-MPA) -- Main opposition New Democracy (ND) party leads ruling PASOK party by 6 percentage points, according to a poll carried out by the Public Issue company and unveiled by a local newscast on Thursday.According to the poll, ND garnered 32.5 per cent of respondents' preferences, followed by PASOK with 26.5 pct; the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) picked up 11.5 pct.; the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) 9 pct.; the Popular Orthodox Rally (LA.O.S) party 7.5 pct and the Ecologists Greens 3.5 pct. The composite index fell 0.95 pct to end at 1,176.88 points, for a net loss of 5.93 pct in the week. The index is down 10.06 pct in the 10-day decline. Turnover remained a low 60.963 million euros.The Big Cap index fell 1.22 pct, the Mid Cap index eased 0.59 pct and the Small Cap index rose 0.95 pct. Marfin Popular Bank (4.26 pct), OPAP (2.21 pct) and PPC (0.88 pct) were top gainers among blue chip stocks, while Ellaktor (6.20 pct), OTE (3.95 pct) and National Bank (3.67 pct) were top losers. The Media (9.76 pct) and Travel (2.0 pct) sectors scored gains, while Insurance (4.08 pct), Telecoms (3.95 pct) and Constructions (2.48 pct) suffered the heaviest percentage losses of the day. Broadly, decliners led advancers by 68 to 56 with another 51 issues unchanged.
