[01] ADEX closing report(ANA-MPA) -- The September contract on the FTSE 20 index was trading around its fair value in the Athens Derivatives Exchange on Friday, with turnover remaining a low 32.750 million euros. Volume on the Big Cap index totaled 7,380 contracts worth 21.576 million euros, with 29,241 short positions in the market.Volume in futures contracts on equities totaled 38,675 contracts worth 11.174 million euros, with investment interest focusing on Piraeus Bankâs contracts (11,106), followed by Eurobank (4,372), National Bank (9,486), Alpha Bank (1,762), ATEbank (4,887), Cyprus Bank (2,513), Marfin Popular Bank (1,126) and PPC (552). © ANA-MPA SA. More details on the subscriber's page of ANA-MPA | Subscription request form [02] Stocks end week 6.16% upStocks ended up for the fourth consecutive session this week in the Athens Stock Exchange, reflecting renewed hope over economic developments in the country following the approval by the Parliament of a Mid-term Fiscal Strategy Programe, which paves the way for the release of the fifth tranche of a loan agreement signed with the troika.The composite index of the market jumped 2.30 pct to end at 1,308.48 points, for a net gain of 6.16 pct in the week, although the index was down 7.46 pct so far this year. The Big Cap index rose 3.18 pct, the Mid Cap index ended 0.29 pct higher and the Small Cap index rose 2.12 pct. ATEbank (11.03 pct), Eurobank (7.43 pct), National Bank (5.48 pct), Alpha Bank (5.19 pct) and Piraeus Bank (4.67 pct) were top gainers among blue chip stocks, while Jumbo (1.15 pct), Hellenic Telecoms (0.47 pct) and Titan (0.30 pct) were top losers.
