[01] Libyan executive jet enters Athens FIR on way to Cairo(ANA-MPA) -- A Libyan airplane, identified as a Falcon 900 executive jet, entered the Athens FIR just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday, southwest of Crete.The plane had reportedly filed a flight plan for Cairo, according to reports. Οι νέοι σε ηλικία παραμένουν "πρωταθλητές" στην ανεργία, με το ποσοστό τους να αυξάνεται αλματωδώς. Σε επίπεδο περιφερειών της χώρας, τα υψηλότερα ποσοστά ανεργίας καταγράφονται στις περιφέρειες Ιονίων Νήσων (23,1% τον Δεκέμβριο 2010 από 15% τον Δεκέμβριο 2009), Δυτικής Μακεδονίας (17,7% από 12%), Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας (16,5% από 11,4%), Ανατολικής Μακεδονίας- Θράκης (15,6% από 12,5%) και Νοτίου Αιγαίου (15,5% τον περασμένο Δεκέμβριο από 13,6% τον Δεκέμβριο 2009). Στην Αττική, όπου διαμένει η συντριπτική πλειονότητα του πληθυσμού, η ανεργία ανήλθε τον Δεκέμβριο 2010 σε 14% από 9,2% τον Δεκέμβριο 2009. More details on the subscriber's page of ANA-MPA | Subscription request form ο»Ώ [03] ASE opening: stocks risingEquity prices were rising slowly at the opening of trade on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), following Tuesday's sharp decline and despite an already anticipated downgrade of Greek banks by Moody's, with the basic share price index up 0.50 percent, standing at 1,533.18 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 12.33 million euros.Individual sector indices were mixed, with the biggest gains scored in Banks, up 1.33 percent; and Construction, up 1.13 percent. The heaviest losses were in Health, down 4.10 percent and Personal Products, down 0.89 percent. The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 1.03 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was essentially level at 0.04 percent, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was up 0.37 percent. Of the stocks traded, 33 were up, 20 were down, and 16 were unchanged.
