[01] Greece's IMF rep: Memorandum expires in 2013
Washington (ANA-MPA/T. Ellis) -- Greece's representative to the
International Monetary Fund (IMF), Panagiotis Roumeliotis, on Sunday
clarified, in a statement to ANA-MPA, that he has never said that the
Memorandum will expire in 2030, "as mistakenly written in some media"
after his address to the International Relations Institute in Athens on
Thursday.
"What I said is that, after the expiry of the Memorandum in 2013,
Greece will have to continue by itself its effort in the fiscal
sector," Roumeliotis stressed.
