    [02] More staff at museums

(ANA-MPA) -- The culture and tourism ministry will unveil a regulation within the next few days to guarantee the unhindered operation of the country's museums, many of which are faced with staffing shortages.

According to the draft regulation, a total of 194 museum security staff -- waiting to be hired since 2009 -- will assume their posts immediately in major museums across the country, while all vacancies created due to retirements or non-renewed work contracts will be filled by mid January.

The culture and tourism ministry stressed that "there will be no closed halls in any of the country's museums".

Another 2,500 employees will soon be hired by the ministry pending finance ministry approval. (ANA-MPA)
