[01] Four held by counter-terrorism police after arms cache discovered - Investigation continuing (updated)Four people were being held and a large cache of weapons were seized by counter-terrorism police on Saturday afternoon during a raid in a garage in the Athens district of Nea Smyrni.One of the detainees has been wanted since October 2009. Counter-terrorism units have also left Athens for several cities in the periphery, as well as Thessaloniki, where coordinated searches are being made in houses and individuals are being investigated. Similar searches were taken place in other houses in the wider Athens area, apart from the Nea Smyrni location. In addition to the raids, counter-terrorism police were bringing in a number of suspects for questioning. The suspects are being investigated for participation in a terrorist group, and possibly that of the Revolutionaries' Sect. The investigations were being overseen by four prosecutors, while detailed announcements are due to be made by counter-terrorism police on Sunday.
