[01] New FM invited to SkopjeSKOPJE (ANA-MPA / N. Frangopoulos) -- The foreign minister of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (fYRoM) on Tuesday conveyed his congratulations to newly appointed Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas -- who previously held the alternate FM's portfolio -- while also extending an invitation to the latter to visit Skopje."I would like, on this opportunity, to underline my conviction that during the upcoming period we will make joint efforts to upgrade relations between our two countries in the spirit of European values, mutual cooperation and understanding," fYRoM Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki said, adding: (ANA-MPA) "I am deeply convinced that with joint efforts we can provide a new dimension to the development of bilateral relations and cooperation, contributing in this way not only to making ties firmer on a bilateral level but also to stability and progress for the wider region." He went on to invite Droutsas to carry out an official visit to fYRoM at a date to be decided via diplomatic channels.
