[01] Samaras calls for talks on election reformsMain opposition New Democracy (ND) President Antonis Samaras on Thursday addressed the issue of election law reforms in letters sent to Prime Minister George Papandreou and the leaders of the political parties in Parliament.Samaras stated that "apparently, there is no agreement as regards election law reform", while he called for cross-party consultation without preconditions. He underlined that such consultations will help "record possible agreements and unbridgeable disagreements, allowing the drawing up of a specific draft law based on mutually acceptable principles."
