[01] Lavrentiadis elected new chairman of Proton Bank
(ÁÍÁ-MPA) -- Âusiness executive Lavrentis Lavrentiadis on Thursday was
elected as the new chairman of the board of Proton Bank, following the
resignation of three board members and their replacement on Jan. 4,
2010. Lavrentiadis recently bought more than 30 pct of Proton Bankâs
equity capital, paying roughly 70 million euros to Piraeus Bank group.
