    The Friday edition of Athens' dailies at a glance

    The IMF (International Monetary Fund) report and proposals on the Greek economy, the changes in the Armed Forces leadership, elections speculation and Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin's visit to Turkey were the main front-page items in Friday's newspapers.

    ADESMEFTOS TYPOS: "The new Armed Forces leadership counter to the Turkish provocations - Major changes at the top decided by KYSEA (Government Council for Foreign Affairs and Defence)".

    APOGEVMATINI: "Terrorist hit rehearsal - Two men on motorcycle attempted to test the reflexes of the development ministry's special guards".

    AVGHI: "They're 'scratching away' at our pockets - Government reviving the 'scratch' lottery card, anticipating 200-300 million euros annually in revenues in order to tackle the 'black hole' of the deficits".

    AVRIANI: "The new chief of the GEETHA (General Defence General Staff ) a Greek 'hawk' - The selection of Lt. Gen. Ioannis Yiagos to the Armed Forces leadership a message to Ankara".
