[01] UN High Commission delegation for refugees to visit LerosA delegation of the UN High Commission's Information Sector on Refugees in Greece will pay a visit to the island of Leros on June 10-11, on the occasion of International Refugees Day on June 20.According to an announcement, Leros, as is the case with other islands in the Aegean, is receiving an increased number of foreigners lacking legalising documents, including refugees who are in need of international protection. [02] FM Bakoyannis in Oslo, StockholmForeign Minister Dora Bakoyannis will travel to Oslo on Tuesday where she will be having talks on Wednesday morning with her Norwegian counterpart Jonas Gahr Store, focusing on regional and international issues of common interest, a ministry announcement said Monday.Bakoyannis will then travel to Stockholm, where she will be taking part in an informal dinner hosted by Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt for European Union foreign ministers, in view of the Swedish EU rotating presidency which begins on July 1. [03] Almunia on Greece's deficitEuropean Union[04] ASE : Small declineEquity prices were mixed at the opening of trade on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.37 percent, standing at 2,363.40 points at 10:45 a.m., and turnover at 26.2 million euros.Individual sector indices were moving mostly upward, with the biggest gains in Construction, up 2.45 percent; Financial Services, up 2.42 percent; and Technology, up 2.34 percent. The biggest losses were in Insurance, down 4.02 percent; Food & Beverage, down 2.06 percent; and Telecoms, down 2.03 percent. The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.32 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 0.83 percent, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was up 0.23 percent. Of the stocks moved, 49 were up, 24 were down, and 21 were unchanged.
