A light earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted the
northern Peloponnese and parts of west-central Greece at noon on
Sunday.
The trembler, which was recorded at 12:00 noon at a distance of 150
kilometres west of Athens, with its epicentre in the sea northwest of
Egio, was felt in the prefectures of Achaia, Corinth, Aetoloakarnania
and Fokida.
The only damage initially reported was to a hotel near Patras.
