[01] PM sends letter of contratulations to new Patriarch of Moscow
Prime minister Costas Karamanlis sent a letter of congratulations on
Saturday to the newly-elected Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia,
Kyrillos (Cyril).
In his letter, Karamanlis stressed that the election of the new
Patriarch marked a historic moment for the Russian Orthodox Church, and
also noted the bonds between the Orthodox peoples of Greece and
Russia.
