All large Greek banks will participate in a 28-bln-euro government plan
aimed at boosting liquidity in the economy, Economy and Finance
Minister George Alogoskoufis said on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters, after a meeting with Bank of Greeceās governor
George Provopoulos and the presidency of Hellenic banks, the Greek
minister said the meeting discussed the implementation of the
government plan. Alogoskoufis said the presidency of the Federation of
Hellenic Banks confirmed that all large banks will participate in the
government plan. ?This way will be able to deal the crisis better,? he
said.
