3-hour stoppage in media sector on Thu.
A three-hour work stoppage will be held on Thursday from 12 noon to 3
p.m. in local media sector, while
lawyers and engineers, particularly those employed in the public
sector, have declared a 24-hour strike on Thursday to protest of
government initiatives on merging their social security funds.
ANA-MPA services will be off-line during the industrial action from
noon to 3 p.m. (10 GMT to 13.00 GMT)
A day earlier, unions representing physicians, attorneys, engineers
and media staff called a one-day nationwide strike.
