[01] Papandreou elected with 55.57 per cent
Main opposition PASOK leader George Papandreou was reelected as party
president with 55.57 per cent of the votes cast in last Sunday's
nationwide intra-party elections, the party said on Tuesday evening.
Papandreou's main rival, Evangelos Venizelos, received 38.5 per cent
and Costas Skandalidis 5.76 per cent.
The results announced represent 99 per cent of the election centres.
Party officials said that the remaining 21 election centres would not
affect the result.
