<!--Greek tourism officials on Monday unveiled the east Mediterranean holiday destination's new slogan for an upcoming international ad campaign, with the phrase "Greece the True perience" announced outside the Greek National Tourism Organization's pavilion at the World Travel Market (WTM) convention in London. In a brief address, Tourism Development Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos said the goal of the 2007-2008 tourism campaign is to consolidate Greece's position amongst the world's top tourism destinations and to achieve a carve out a greater share of the market."We're aiming for the so-called 'creative class', in other words, the 10 percent of travelers that seek new and true experiences," he said.According to the freshman minister, Greek tourism is also seeking out new era modes of advertising, via the Internet, for instance. Finally, he reiterated that the government's strategy in the all-important tourism sector aims to bolster specific brands of tourism that more-or-less veer away from traditional forms of tourism offered in Greece over the past decades, instead emphasising sea sports, trekking and hiking routes, tours of cultural sites, health spas, conferences and conventions, luxury packages, agro-tourism and weekend getaways.
