[01] PASOK comments on bonds issue
Main opposition PASOK party spokesman Petros Efthymiou, commenting on
Monday on the appointment of Vassilis Magginas as Employment Minister
in the place of Savvas Tsitouridis, said that "whatever applied to Mr.
Tsitouridis applies now to Mr. Magginas" and called on the new minister
to publicise all the data concerning the transfer of bonds.
Efthymiou called on Magginas to reply with details how many bonds were
issued by the Hellenic state, that are currently in the possession of
the social insurance funds, and what is their amount in money. In
addition, how many funds and by which decisions did they break the
so-called golden bonds in order to purchase the "risky" structured
bonds.
He also called on the newly-appointed minister to turn into practice
all that he has said and to clash with every phenomenon of corruption,
with the phenomenon of a coverup first and to provide Parliament with
all the evidence.
